AMG Powered Hanwha Vision PTZ Camera
AMG Systems are a UK Manufacturer of Industrial Transmission Products. We regularly reach out to other manufacturers to test their higher PoE devices ensuring compatibility with the PoE standards. Not all Higher PoE devices actually support the new 802.3bt PoE standard.

The model tested was the PNM-9320VQP. A Multi-sensor Camera with built in PTZ that requires a PoE provision that exceeds 30W (802.3at)
AMG Systems products used to create the test were:
- AMG150 Series Industrial PoE Injector
- AMG250 Series Industrial PoE Media Converter
- AMG570 Series Industrial Managed Switch
- AMG510 Series Commercial Managed Switch
- AMG160-1F-1EU Ethernet Extender
All of the above AMG products used to carry out the test proved successful. The camera was placed under full power load without any reboot issues within network distances in compliance with the IEEE network standards of 90 meters.
A couple of AMG160-1F-1EU ExtendNet units were able to maintain the full operation of the Hanwha Vision PTZ to a distance of 300 meters over CAT5 using PoE Passthrough. If the AMG160 units are powered separately, full operation was maintained at 400 meters. In this instance the PoE Power was provided by using an AMG570 series managed industrial switch powered by a 56vdc Industrial PSU.
