AMG Systems Expands Global Technical Support Commitment
AMG Systems of the UK and USA has added two well-known technical support and product specialists to support the growing global demand for AMG Transmission Products. These hires aimed to expand technical support coverage to approximately 18 hours a day worldwide.
Brian Gildea comes to AMG as the technical support manager for North America. Brian will be responsible for supporting the growing number of North American AMG customers as AMG continues its North American expansion. Brian will now be able to offer in-country support for all pre-and post-sale technical support, and product specification, and offer design services to help AMG customers choose the correct AMG solution to solve their challenges. Brian most recently came to AMG after serving as Technical Support Manager for ACRE/ComNet and was part of ComNet since its formation in 2008. Before ComNet, Brian was part of IFS/GE Security in the same role. Brian will be based in the Trumbull CT office.

Barbara Werner joins AMG Systems UK as a key member of our growing global technical support and product pre-and post-sale support group. Barbara joins AMG with over 10 years of hands-on experience in the IT industry working in various roles from data centers to managed services and has worked with many different switch and router vendors including Cisco, Juniper, and HP. Barbara’s expertise in data center networking, including physical, virtual, cloud, and software-defined technologies, is complimented by strong traditional LAN/WAN deployment experience, focusing on security as a foundation of all solution deliveries making her an ideal addition to the AMG Tech Support Team. Barbara comes to AMG from her role as a systems engineer for WhiteSpider.

Both Brian and Barbara will report to Toby Featherstone, AMG Technical Services Manager, and this is a key indicator of AMG Systems’ continued commitment to supporting customers.
